What transport options does the village provide?
At Settlers, residents have a wide range of transport options available to them. Residents who feel like spending a day out enjoying the local area can easily do so. Settlers provide a village bus, which all residents have access to. It can accommodate up to twelve people for a trip and is a very convenient option for exploring the area—join one of the regular trips taking residents to and from the Westfield Shopping Mall, or arrange to use the bus for personal trips you want to take.
Besides the village bus, a small car is also available to residents for transport to and from medical appointments.
Do residents have access to public transport?
Residents living at Settlers are also able to enjoy easy public transport options if they choose to. With just a short walk, seniors can hop on a public bus and have nice a day out, enjoying the local shops, parks, and amenities. Much of the area is also within walking distance, so if you feel like some fresh air outside of the village environment, you can feel free to explore.
Can I keep my car when I move into Settlers?
If you want to keep a personal vehicle when you move into Settler, you can. So long as you or your partner are currently in possession of a valid driver’s licence and own a car, you can bring your vehicle into the village with you.
Our basement car park has undercover parking spaces allocated for all of our two- and three-bedroom apartments. Our one-bedroom homes can be allocated a parking space if one is required and available.
Your safety & security are our top priority
While residents living in Settlers have easy access to an abundance of local shops, parks, and amenities outside of the village within the surrounding area, your safety and security are still our top priority. We have various measures in place for onsite security, such as security cameras and security guards, to make sure that Settlers remains a friendly, safe, and secure environment.
Seniors can have peace of mind if they live alone or travel often because Settlers is also known as a “gated community”, which means our main entrance gates are closed and locked at night. Key entry points are also monitored by cameras and our buildings are only accessible via electronic keys.
Seniors can happily enjoy their time away from home, rest assured that their property is secure and well looked after in their absence.
